Cabinet Minister Brahma Shankar Jimpa said that the all-round development of the city is being done by the Urban Improvement Trust, Hushiarpur, for which the trust is continuously working. He said that under the transparent policy of the Punjab Government, e-auction is being conducted by the Urban Improvement Trust Office, in which the price of property has also been reduced especially for the city residents. He was addressing the press conference regarding e-auction organized at the Municipal Improvement Trust office today. On this occasion, Chairman Municipal Improvement Trust Harmeet Singh Aulakh was also present with him.
The Cabinet Minister said that the Urban Improvement Trust, Hushiarpur, in its development schemes will sell residential and commercial properties (plots, shops and SCO-cum-office sites) through online mode through e-auction process from 20th February to 22nd February. E-auction has been held till. The date for registration on the e-auction website ‘https://www.tenderwirard.com/4L7P ‘ has started from 26 January 2024 at 10 am and the closing date for registration is 16 February at 5 pm. He said that the new scheme is being developed on 7.72 acres by the Trust under the leadership of Chairman Harmeet Singh Aulakh. In which draw of residential plots will also be held for the city residents. The remaining property will be sold through e-auction method. Efforts will be made to provide ultra-modern facilities in the schemes developed in the city. A good project will be brought by the Punjab Government at the site of the old court in the city.
Talking to reporters, Chairman Urban Improvement Trust Harmeet Singh Aulakh said that no stone will be left unturned in the development of the city and all the work will be done in a transparent manner. He appealed to the city residents to take advantage of the government services by actively participating in the e-auction organized by the Office of Urban Improvement Trust, Hushiarpur. He told that in Scheme No. 2 there are 14 residential plots and one constructed shop, in Scheme No. 10 there are 6 shop-cum-office sites and in Scheme No. 11 there are 2 residential plots, constructed shop (ground floor), 28 constructed shops (first floor). floor) and a constructed shop (first floor) will be auctioned. He said that pamphlets are also being distributed in the city to provide more information to the city residents. On this occasion, Executive Officer Paramjit Singh, Assistant Trust Engineer Mandeep Adia, Councilor Balvinder Bindi, Accountant Ashish Kumar, Senior Assistant Sanjeev Kalia and group staff members were present.
