Awareness poster released regarding World Immunization Week
April 24 (Punjab Khabarnama) : “Special Vaccination Week” is being celebrated from April 24 to April 30 through special vaccination camps on the 50th anniversary of vaccination by the Health Department to protect unvaccinated children and pregnant women from deadly diseases.
Civil surgeon Barnala Dr. expressed these words. Harinder Sarma released the awareness poster. He said that this campaign is being conducted in the slums, slums and urban areas of the entire Barnala district.
District Vaccination Officer Dr. Gurbinder Kaur said that 50 years of vaccination program have been completed in the country. The golden jubilee of the vaccination program will be celebrated by organizing a special camp. Vaccination has prevented many diseases like polio. During the special vaccination week, those children and pregnant women who were deprived of vaccination due to some reason will be vaccinated.
District Mass Media and Information Officer Kuldeep Singh Mann, District B. C. C. Coordinator Harjit Singh, Gurdeep Singh Vaccination Assistant and Siwani Arora Block Extension Educator said that special sessions will be held for the success of vaccination. Appealed to the residents of Barnala district to participate in the vaccination campaign and to vaccinate the children and pregnant women who are deprived of vaccination due to some reason. So that the children can be protected from deadly diseases.
Awareness seminars, awareness rallies and inter-school quiz competitions are being conducted to make the general public aware about this special week.
