1 crore 99 lakh 35 thousand 770 registered voters in the state

April 14 (Punjab Khabarnama) : The Chief Electoral Officer of Haryana Mr. Anurag Aggarwal has appealed to the 1 crore 99 lakh 35 thousand 770 registered voters of the state to vote in large numbers in the general elections to be held in Haryana on May 25, 2024 because democracy Every vote counts and sometimes even a candidate wins by a narrow margin.

Mr. Anurag Aggarwal was leading the review meeting with the officials of the department regarding the election arrangements.

The Chief Electoral Officer has appealed to all the voters to come forward to contribute to the pride of the country in the celebration of democracy. The number of transgender voters in the state is 460. 76 under Ambala Lok Sabha in Haryana, 23 in Kurukshetra Lok Sabha, 40 in Sirsa Lok Sabha, 11 in Hisar Lok Sabha, 37 in Karnal Lok Sabha, 44 in Sonepat Lok Sabha. There are 21 transgender registered voters in Rohtak Lok Sabha, 13 in Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha, 78 in Gurgaon Lok Sabha and 117 in Faridabad Lok Sabha.

Mr. Anurag Agarwal said that Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituency has the highest number of 25 lakh 38 thousand 463 registered voters, while Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency has 24 lakh 4 thousand 733 registered voters. Similarly, there are 19 lakh 82 thousand 414 registered voters in Ambala Lok Sabha constituency. There are 17 lakh 85 thousand 273 registered voters in Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency. There are 19 lakh 28 thousand 529 registered voters in Sirsa Lok Sabha constituency. There are 17 lakh 81 thousand 605 registered voters in Hisar Lok Sabha constituency. There are 20 lakh 92 thousand 684 registered voters in the Lok Sabha constituency in Karnal. There are 17 lakh 57 thousand 81 registered voters in Sonepat Lok Sabha constituency. Rohtak Lok Sabha constituency has 18 lakh 80 thousand 357 registered voters and Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha constituency has 17 lakh 83 thousand 894 registered voters.

The C-Vigil app is also being effective against violations of election rules

The Chief Election Officer said that C-Vigil app has been created by the Election Commission of India. Anywhere through this app, if the citizens come to know about the violation of election procedure, they can register their complaint through this app. This complaint is resolved by the officials of the department within 100 minutes. He said that till now 1666 complaints have been received by the department on C-Vigil App in the state, out of which 1383 complaints have been found to be correct by the Additional Returning Officer or Returning Officers and their disposal has been done as per rules.

Among them 348 in Ambala district, 53 in Bhiwani district, 62 in Faridabad, 64 in Fatehabad, 98 in Gurugram, 103 in Hisar, 21 in Jhajjar, 34 in Jind, 33 in Kaithal, 16 in Karnal, 44 in Kurukshetra, 44 in Mahendragarh. 3, 39 in Nuh, 38 in Palwal, 96 in Panchkula, 10 in Panipat, 6 in Rewari, 63 in Rohtak, 367 in Sirsa, 116 in Sonepat and 52 in Yamunanagar.
