November 4, 2025 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau) : Hyundai Motor India has officially launched the new Hyundai Venue 2025 in the domestic market, with prices starting at ₹7.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated subcompact SUV brings a refreshed design, upgraded technology, and enhanced safety features, aiming to strengthen Hyundai’s dominance in India’s competitive SUV segment.

The new Venue comes with refinements across design, performance, and comfort, addressing feedback from existing customers while aligning with the automaker’s latest global styling language. Hyundai claims the new model offers a “smarter, safer, and more connected driving experience” — a promise that seems well reflected in its revamped features list.

Design and Exterior

The 2025 Hyundai Venue sports a bold new front fascia with an updated parametric grille, sharper LED projector headlamps, and redesigned DRLs. The bumper has been reworked for a sportier stance, giving the SUV a more muscular appearance. The rear now features connected LED tail lamps similar to the Venue N Line, along with new dual-tone alloy wheels and additional color options, including Abyss Black, Atlas White with Black Roof, and Fiery Red.

The Venue’s dimensions remain unchanged, preserving its compact city-friendly appeal while maximizing cabin space. Ground clearance continues to stand at 190 mm, making it equally capable for rough Indian road conditions.

Interiors and Features

Inside, the cabin sees a significant upgrade with premium upholstery, a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and the latest Hyundai Bluelink connected car technology. The system supports over-the-air (OTA) updates, voice commands in multiple languages, and seamless smartphone connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Hyundai has also added features like ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, ambient lighting, and automatic climate control. The top trims offer a digital instrument cluster, air purifier, and a premium Bose sound system for an enhanced in-cabin experience.

Engine and Performance

The 2025 Venue retains its familiar three-engine options — a 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. The engines are paired with multiple transmission choices, including 5-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, and 7-speed DCT for the turbo variant.

The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol continues to deliver 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque, providing a zippy and responsive performance, particularly suited for urban driving. Meanwhile, the diesel variant, which produces 116 PS and 250 Nm of torque, remains the choice for long-distance commuters seeking fuel efficiency and torque-rich performance.

Hyundai has fine-tuned the suspension and steering response for a smoother ride and better handling. The new Venue promises a quieter cabin, improved braking feel, and refined gear shifts — areas where the brand says customer feedback has been implemented.

Safety Features

Safety has been a major focus area for Hyundai. The 2025 Venue now comes equipped with six airbags as standard across all variants, along with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-Start Assist, and Rear Parking Sensors with Camera. Higher trims also get Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), automatic headlamps, and ISO-FIX child seat anchors.

Additionally, Hyundai has introduced ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) in the top-end variant, offering features such as Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Driver Attention Monitoring — a first for the segment.

Variants and Pricing

The new Hyundai Venue is available in five trimsE, S, S+, SX, and SX (O) — with prices starting at ₹7.90 lakh and going up to ₹13.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end diesel automatic.

Rivals and Market Outlook

The 2025 Hyundai Venue continues to face strong competition from rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300. However, with its refreshed design, expanded feature list, and enhanced safety suite, the Venue aims to maintain its position among the top-selling compact SUVs in India.

Experts believe that the addition of ADAS and connected car features gives Hyundai a distinct advantage in the sub-₹15 lakh segment. With increasing consumer demand for tech-loaded compact SUVs, the Venue is expected to attract both first-time car buyers and urban families seeking premium comfort in a compact package.

Speaking at the launch event, Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India, said, “The new Venue represents our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. We’ve combined technology, performance, and safety to redefine what India expects from a compact SUV.”

With strong brand loyalty, an extensive dealership network, and a reputation for reliability, Hyundai is confident that the new Venue will continue its success story in India’s booming SUV market.

Summary
Hyundai launched the new 2025 Venue in India, priced from ₹7.90 lakh. The SUV features design updates, enhanced safety with ADAS, new tech features, and refined engine options.
