Punjab 12 May 2025 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau) : On Monday, the chiefs of all three armed forces—Vice Admiral A.N. Pramod, Air Marshal A.K. Bharti, and DGMO Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai—addressed the media for the second consecutive day regarding Operation Sindoor.
The press briefing began with a recitation of poems by national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar and patriotic songs. In response to a question, Air Marshal A.K. Bharti referenced some lines from the Ramcharitmanas and said, “I will only say this—’Fear cannot bring affection, nor can humility; even the ocean remained unmoved for three days. Lord Ram, in anger, said, ‘Without fear, affection does not exist.’”
He further explained, “Three days passed, but the stubborn sea did not show any sign of submission. Then Lord Ram, in anger, spoke the words—’Without fear, there can be no affection!’”
In response to another question, A.K. Bharti stated that whether it’s Turkish drones or drones from any other country, they were helpless against our air defense, and everyone witnessed the aftermath of their destruction.
Air Marshal A.K. Bharti, Head of Air Operations, also mentioned that the fight was against terrorism and terrorists. He explained that on the night of May 7, they specifically targeted terrorists, but the Pakistani military supported the terrorists. Following their actions, India carried out retaliatory measures, which caused significant losses to Pakistan.
