Late Wednesday night, the Indian armed forces conducted joint airstrikes on a total of 9 terrorist camps located in Pakistan under a coordinated operation. According to information from the Ministry of Defence, this operation was carried out based on strategic, high-level intelligence inputs. Indian agencies had received solid information that top terrorist leaders from organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen were present at these camps and planning large-scale terrorist attacks in India. What made ‘Operation Sindoor’ significant was that only the terrorist camps were targeted in this action, and no military or civilian structures in Pakistan were harmed. The Indian Air Force used advanced Mirage 2000 and Sukhoi-30 MKI aircraft, equipped with Spice-2000 and laser-guided bombs. These aircraft destroyed the terrorist camps completely in a short amount of time.
