Moga26 April 2025 (Punjab Khbarnama Bureau): – Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government’s “Yudh Nashiyan Virudh” campaign is in full swing. Today, under the supervision of SSP Ajay Gandhi, the district police took action against drug smugglers in Daulewala village of Dharmkot block.

Four houses built on government land without permission were demolished. These houses belonged to notorious drug smugglers against whom multiple cases have been registered under IPC and NDPS Act.

SSP Ajay Gandhi warned the drug smugglers to stop their illegal activities or face similar action. He assured that the state government is committed to eradicating the drug menace and will not spare anyone involved in this illegal trade.

The action taken by the district police was appreciated by the villagers, who praised the Punjab Government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for their efforts to curb drug trafficking. The villagers also thanked the district administration for taking action against the drug smugglers.

SSP Ajay Gandhi appealed to the people to report any information about drug smugglers to the nearest police station. He assured that the “Yudh Nashiyan Virudh” campaign will continue and those involved in drug trafficking will be dealt with strictly.

The district police is determined to make Punjab a drug-free state and will not tolerate any kind of drug trafficking in the state.

It is worth mentioning here that the campaign launched by the Punjab government against drugs was highly appreciated by Amritpal Singh, Sarpanch, Sukhwinder Singh and other residents of the village of Daulewala and slogans in the favour of Punjab government, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the police administration were also raised.
