Government considers representations received from different quarters, removes the ceiling of area (of 5 acre) on registration of damage area from the portal

Farmers can submit crop Damage details online by March 15

Chandigarh, March 7 (Punjab khabarnama) :  Considering the damage caused to agricultural crops due to the recent hailstorm experienced in different parts of the State of Haryana, the Government has opened the Kshatipurti portal (https://ekshatipurti.haryana.gov.in/)  till March 15, 2024 to receive the claims of damage to the crops from the farmers of the State.

Sharing more details in this regard an official spokesperson said that farmers have been encouraged to upload their claims with a ceiling of 5 acres per farmer. However, now, considering the representations received from different quarters and after re-visiting the issue, the Government has removed the ceiling of area (of 5 ac) on registration of damage area from the portal.

The spokesperson said that the Deputy Commissioners have also been requested to give necessary publicity in this regard to enable the farmers to upload their claims, as per this amended provision.

The spokesperson said that and the District Administrations have been directed to give wide publicity about the same.
