New Delhi, December 13, 2024 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau) – Producer Pallavi Joshi is making headlines for her upcoming film The Delhi Files, but this time the reason is her humanitarian initiative. Joshi, who is producing this much-awaited film, has taken up the responsibility of taking care of more than 50 stray dogs present on the sets of the film. The film is directed by renowned filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri.
The film, which will release in 2025, is being shot on a grand set at Madh Island in Mumbai. This 7-acre land has been transformed into Kolkata, where most of the film’s story is based. This large-scale production features the city’s intricate lanes and busy urban scenes. But what makes this project special is Pallavi Joshi’s sensitivity towards the stray dogs that live in the place.
Instead of removing the stray dogs, Joshi arranged for food and water for them so that they could be taken care of properly. The film’s team and crew were also involved in taking care of these animals, making it a team effort.
The Delhi Files is a powerful drama based on important developments in Indian politics. With its impressive story, strong acting and excellent production values, the film is already creating a lot of buzz.
The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter will be directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and jointly produced by Pallavi Joshi and Abhishek Agarwal. The film is being presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal and I Am Buddha Productions and will release worldwide on August 15, 2025
