In district Ferozepur, as per the directions of SSP Saumya Mishra, while running a campaign against anti-social elements, CIA Staff Ferozepur Police under the leadership of ASI Gursahib Singh has arrested a 4 member gang of anti-social elements with illegal weapons. Giving this information, SP Investigation Ferozepur Randhir Kumar said that as per the directions of DSP (D) Fateh Singh Brar and CISF Incharge Inspector Mohit Dhawan, when the police of CIA Staff Ferozepur under the leadership of ASI Gursahib Singh was patrolling and checking suspicious persons in the area of Ferozepur Cantonment, they received secret information that Sukhpreet Singh alias Budha, Lovepreet Singh alias Shiva, Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh and Kulwinder Singh alias Gill resident of Jeera are carrying illegal pistols with them and all these persons are roaming on the road going from Chungi No. 7 towards Shamshan Ghat Ferozepur Cantt to carry out some robbery incident.
He informed that based on this secret information, the CIA staff of Firozpur police conducted a raid and arrested the named persons from whom one country-made pistol 315 bore, one country-made pistol 30 bore and live cartridges were recovered. He informed that a case has been registered against the arrested accused under Arms Act in Firozpur Cantt police station and they are being questioned and their backward and forward links are being traced.
