The stock market continues to fluctuate today on Tuesday (5 November). After a fall of 450 points, the Sensex has currently gained 500 points, it is trading at 79,282, while the Nifty is also at the level of 24,158 with a gain of 162 points.
Earlier, the Sensex fell 450 points to 78,340 while the Nifty fell 120 points to trade at 23,870.
Mixed business for Asian markets
In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei is up 1.11%. At the same time, Korea’s Kospi is down by 0.47% and China’s Shanghai Composite is trading with a gain of 1.42%.
On November 4, America’s Dow Jones closed 0.61% down at 41,794 and S&P 500 closed 0.28% down at 5,712. Nasdaq closed 0.33% down at 18,179.
According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹ 4,329.79 crore on November 4. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹ 2,936.08 crore.
There was a decline in the market yesterday
Earlier yesterday, on November 4, the Sensex closed at 78,782 with a fall of 941 points (1.18%). Nifty also fell by 309 points (1.27%) and closed at 23,995.
The Realty index fell the most by 2.93%. The Oil and Gas index fell by 2.48% and Nifty Media by 2.16%. Consumer Durables, Private Bank, FMCG and Metal index fell by more than 1%. Hero MotoCorp’s stock closed down by 4.25%.
