Bollywood’s King Khan i.e. Shahrukh Khan turned 59 on 2 November 2024. King Khan celebrated this special day with his fans at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir Hall in Bandra, Mumbai. During this, he made many revelations about his life. One of these revelations was about his smoking. Shahrukh told how he has quit smoking. There was a time when he used to smoke 100 cigarettes a day but he surprised his fans by saying that he has quit smoking.
While talking to the fans, Shahrukh Khan said, ‘Another good thing is that I will not smoke now.’ He told that he was having trouble breathing, due to which he decided to quit smoking. Hearing this, the people present in the event started clapping for him.
He also admitted that he thought he would have less shortness of breath after quitting smoking, but he is still adjusting to this change. He said, ‘I thought I would not have so much shortness of breath but I still feel it. Insha Allah, that too will be fine.’ This video of Shah Rukh Khan went viral on social media, after which people are praising him.
Shahrukh Khan had told during an interview in 2011 that he was addicted to cigarettes and caffeine. During the conversation, he had said that I used to smoke more than 100 cigarettes a day. I used to forget to eat and drink. I used to drink 30 cups of black coffee a day due to which I could not sleep.
It is known that in the year 2012, Shahrukh had to face criticism for smoking publicly during the IPL match between his team Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. After being convicted before a Jaipur court, he was imposed a nominal fine of Rs 100.
Talking about the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the film ‘Dunky’ which also featured Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal. King Khan will soon be seen rocking the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan.
