a series of pictures on Instagram, Ron Eli’s son said that the world has lost one of its greatest men. He wrote, ‘And I have lost my father. My father was a person whom people called a hero. He was an actor, writer, coach, guide and leader. He died on September 29 at his home in California.’


Talking about her father, Kirsten said that he was a family man and a leader, he left a powerful wave of positive influence wherever he went. The effect he had on others was something I have never seen in any other person, there was truly something magical about him. That is why the world knew him. I knew him as my father and it is an honor sent from heaven for me. He used to hang the moon for me.

Later, he appeared in Universal’s Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze in 1975 and in cameo roles in popular TV shows Wonder Woman, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island and Superboy. In the 1980s, Ali hosted the musical game show Face the Music and replaced Bert Parks as host of the Miss America pageant in 1980 and 1981.
