Amritsar 24 February 2024 (Punjab khabarnama) : A lecture was organized by Army Recruiting Office, Amritsar in coordination with Placement Officer Mr. Jasbir Singh at Govt Polytechnic, Batala on ‘Possibilities of Joining the Indian Army as Agniveer’. Its objective was to educate and inspire the youth about career opportunities in the Indian Army. Recruiting Director Colonel Chetan Pande conducted the lecture and explained about recruitment process in Indian Army and the personal and professional growth opportunities within the organization. Principal Shri Rajdeep Singh Bal, Officer Incharge Electrical Vijay Manhas, Officer Incharge Civil Shivrajan Puri and Officer Incharge Chemical Madam Rekha made information available to the youth.
Placement Officer Mr. Jasbir Singh along with Recruiting Director highlighted the importance of skill development and job placement facilities for the candidates in institute. Lecturer Hunarbir Singh said that the students were informed about the possibilities of joining the Indian army.
Recruiting Director also informed that online registration window has started from 13 Feb 2024 and will continue till 22 Mar 2024. Desirous candidates may timely register themselves on official website of Indian Army (www.joinindianarmy.nic.in).
Candidates were also briefed about latest changes from current year that typing test for Agniveer Clerk and Store Keeper Technical will be introduced alongwith Online CEE. Candidates are advised to carry out necessary practice prior to commencement of test.
