7 october 2024 : Ratan Tata has clarified that reports of him being hospitalized due to a drop in blood pressure are “unfounded.” He stated, “I am aware of the recent rumors about my health and want to assure everyone that these claims are not true.”
The 86-year-old former chairman of Tata Sons explained, “I am currently undergoing medical check-ups related to my age and some associated health conditions. There is no cause for concern. I am in good spirits and kindly ask the public and media to stop spreading misinformation.”
This statement came after a media report suggested that Ratan Tata had been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital early on Monday morning.
