3 october 2024 : Kannada actress Srinidhi Shetty, known for her role in KGF, is making strides in the Telugu film industry. Following her signing for the film Telusu Kasa alongside Siddhu Jonnalagadda, she has now joined the cast of HIT 3. Nani announced her addition to the project on X (formerly Twitter), sharing a photo of the two on set.
In his post, Nani welcomed Srinidhi, saying, “Other side of the madness 🙂 Welcome on board @SrinidhiShetty7 #Hit3.” Srinidhi expressed her excitement on Instagram, stating, “Another piece of my heart – HIT3. I’m beyond thrilled to be part of this one. Thank you @nameisnani @saileshkolanu for this wonderful opportunity. #HITTheThirdCase #HITVerse.”
According to a press release from the filmmakers, Srinidhi’s role in HIT 3 will be significant. She is currently filming scenes alongside Nani in Visakhapatnam. Recently, the producers shared an announcement video offering a glimpse of Nani’s character, a police officer named Arjun Sarkaar.
HIT 3 is the third installment in Sailesh Kolanu’s successful HIT series, produced by Nani’s sister, Prashanti Tipirneni, under Wall Poster Cinema in collaboration with Unanimous Productions. The first film, HIT: The First Case, was released in 2020 and featured Vishwak Sen as a troubled police officer, while the second film, HIT: The Second Case, released in 2022, starred Adivi Sesh as Krishna Dev. Nani’s character was introduced in the conclusion of HIT 2.
The film’s cinematography is handled by Sanu John Varghese, with music composed by Mickey J Meyer. Editing is by Karthika Srinivas R, and Sri Nagendra Tangala serves as the production designer. HIT 3 is set to hit theaters on May 1 of next year. Nani was last seen in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, released earlier this year, while Sailesh recently directed Saindhav, featuring Venkatesh, which received mixed reviews.
