22 august 2024 : Ronak Dahiya secured a bronze medal in the 110kg Greco-Roman division at the U17 World Wrestling Championship. Ranked second globally, Ronak effectively overcame the challenge posed by Turkey’s Emrullah Capkan, achieving a victory of 6-1, which marked India’s inaugural medal at the championship on Tuesday evening. He had previously been defeated by Zoltan Czako of Hungary in the semifinal round. The gold medal was awarded to another competitor.
