13 august 2024 : Renowned actress Zeenat Aman, who frequently shares insights into her life with her admirers, disclosed that despite her extensive 50-year career in the limelight, she continues to experience nervousness prior to public engagements. On Monday, she posted an authentic photograph on her Instagram account, depicting her seated in a hotel room, attired in a white robe, with her jewelry meticulously arranged on the bed.
In her accompanying message, Zeenat expressed, “Before each event or appearance, I strive to find a moment of tranquility as I prepare. One might assume that five decades in the public eye would shield one from feelings of anxiety, but that is not the case for me.”
The actress elaborated on how she has transformed her pre-event preparations into a soothing ritual. “Thus, I have made the process of getting ready a meditative experience. A warm shower, a cozy robe, followed by the careful arrangement of my jewelry and accessories. Ultimately, I yield to the expertise of the hair and makeup artists. I begin as the unassuming Z aunty and emerge as The Zeenat Aman. This transformation is a common experience for those of us in the fashion and entertainment industry,” she noted.
Zeenat mentioned that the photograph was captured by her son, Zahaan Khan, who often accompanies her on her travels. She remarked, “I do not travel with a large entourage; it is just Zahaan, and occasionally Cara (Zahaan’s partner). This arrangement has become more frequent as I acknowledge my advancing years. There is immense comfort in having a loved one nearby when navigating unfamiliar environments.”
The image was taken shortly before she attended the Shantanu & Nikhil x Grey Goose couture show in Delhi. Although she was unable to reveal her outfit from the event at that moment, she assured her followers that she would share it once she received the official photographs.
Zeenat concluded her message with a warm wish for her followers, hoping they have a fruitful week ahead. In a lighthearted manner, she added, “My own work schedule may be unpredictable, but to all of you with regular hours…”
