Chandigarh, August 10 : In a pioneering move, Sunam has set an example for the country by equipping all the Government High and Senior Secondary Schools of the Assembly constituency with Robotic Laboratories, setting yet another milestone in revolutionising the education landscape and empowering the students with cutting-edge technologies.

This major breakthrough was announced by Mr. Aman Arora, Minister of Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training, Punjab, today at Government High School, Kheri, while inaugurating an Advanced Robotic Laboratory, here on Friday.

“This initiative is a testament to our commitment of delivering quality, scientific education and equipping our students with the skills they need to thrive in the modern world,” said Mr. Aman Arora, while adding that the robotic labs have been provided to 11 schools today under 2nd phase, whereas, 18 schools have already been equipped with robotic labs under first phase.

He said that the regular training will be imparted at all these schools by trainers especially deployed by Kurious Labs Gurgaon. These futuristic robotic laboratories have been designed to foster a collaborative learning environment, encouraging students to explore, experiment and develop creative solutions to real-world problems. He said that these labs are equipped with Ultrasonic Sensor, IR Sensor, Touch Sensor, Sound Sensor, Air Quality Sensor (MQ 135), Light Sensor (LDR), Temperature Sensor (LM 35), Soil Sensor, PIR Motion Sensor, Alcohol Sensor (MQ 3), Metal Touch Sensor, Carbon Monoxide Sensor (MQ 7), IR Sensor, Relay Sensor, Flame Sensor, Colour Sorting Sensor and Rain Drop Sensor. Government Schools’ students will benefit from these enhanced lab facilities and resources including kit and components for increased focus in emerging technologies of AI and Internet of Things (IoT).

This initiative is expected to have a profound impact on the education landscape in the Sunam constituency, setting a new benchmark for academic excellence and innovation.
