7 September 2026 Punjab Khabarnama Bureau  :  Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand-starrer Hanuman Ansh continued its remarkable run at the box office on Day 31, recording a 37.9% jump in India net collections and taking its total domestic net earnings to ₹122.13 crore.

According to reported box-office estimates, the film collected ₹22.75 crore net in India on its 31st day, marking its highest single-day collection so far.

Day 31 Collection Sees Sharp Growth

Hanuman Ansh earned an estimated ₹22.75 crore on Day 31, compared with ₹16.50 crore on Day 30.

The latest day’s business represents a 37.9% increase, an unusually strong jump for a film that has already completed a month in theatres.

India Net Collection Crosses ₹122 Crore

With the Day 31 earnings, the film’s India net collection has reached ₹122.13 crore.

Its reported India gross collection stands at around ₹144.40 crore, underlining the film’s sustained theatrical momentum well into its fifth week.

Strong Fifth Weekend

The film’s latest surge was driven by strong weekend occupancy. Reported overall occupancy for the Hindi 2D version on Day 31 stood at around 78.54%.

Several major cities recorded particularly strong occupancy, with Lucknow and Jaipur among the markets reporting occupancy above 90%.

A Slow Start Turned Into a Major Hit

Hanuman Ansh had a relatively modest opening, collecting only around ₹10 lakh on its first day.

The film initially had a limited theatrical footprint, but positive word of mouth gradually expanded its audience and screen count. Its performance accelerated significantly in later weeks.

Neem Karoli Baba’s Story Connects With Audiences

Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the spiritual drama is based on the life and journey of Neem Karoli Baba, also known as Maharaj Ji.

Shobhinaw Satyaa portrays the central character, while the film explores his spiritual transformation and devotion to Lord Hanuman.

Low Budget, High Returns

One of the biggest talking points surrounding the film has been its reported production budget of around ₹2 crore.

Crossing ₹122 crore in India net collections represents a substantial commercial return compared with its reported budget, making the film one of the year’s most unexpected theatrical successes.

Audience Word of Mouth Drives Growth

The film’s box-office trajectory suggests that audience recommendations played a major role in its turnaround.

Instead of relying primarily on a large opening weekend, Hanuman Ansh gradually built momentum as more viewers discovered the devotional drama and recommended it to others.

Shobhinaw Satyaa Emerges as a Surprise Success Story

The film has also brought significant attention to Shobhinaw Satyaa, who plays Neem Karoli Baba.

His transition from working behind the camera to taking on the lead role has become part of the film’s larger success story. The performance has helped make him a prominent talking point following the movie’s unexpected box-office run.

What Makes the Box Office Run Remarkable

The film’s performance is notable because its strongest growth came weeks after release.

A Day 31 collection of ₹22.75 crore, after an opening day of just ₹10 lakh, illustrates the unusually long tail of audience interest the film has generated.
