18 December 2025 Punjab Khabarnama Bureau :  Director Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar is enjoying a dream run at the box office, both in India and worldwide. Apart from breaking several records in these two weeks, the film managed to become the second-highest Hindi grosser of 2025. Now, it has already dethroned its first target, and it is a big one. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned Rs 25.5 crore on day 13, taking its India net collection to Rs 437 crore.

Dhurandhar has now managed to surpass SS Rajamouli’s 2015 film Baahubali, which earned Rs 421 crore net in India. The film is now inches away from surpassing Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which made Rs 525 crore in 2023 in India. Dhurandhar is still actively running in theatres, so it seems quite likely that it will be able to dethrone Gadar 2 in the next few days.

The makers of Dhurandhar will be hoping for some grace from the viewers outside of the country, as the film is inching closer to the Rs 700 mark. Its current worldwide collection sits at Rs 664 crore, and if it reaches the aforementioned mark, it will overtake Anil Sharma’s Gadar 2, which sits at Rs 686 crore worldwide. Dhurandhar will face significant competition this weekend, as the film will have to share screens with James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, which is getting a big release in India.

The occupancy rates for day 13 of Dhurandhar’s theatrical run averaged out at 35.28%, which is a slight dip from the day before. The morning and afternoon shows brought in rates of 19.48% and 34.72%, respectively. The evening and night shows did the heavy lifting and achieved rates of 41.77% and 45.14%. These numbers are still early estimates, and the total collection and occupancy rates might get better later on.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the cast of Dhurandhar includes Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan.

Summary:
On Day 13, Ranveer Singh’s action blockbuster Dhurandhar continued its strong box office run, inching closer to the ₹700 crore mark worldwide. The film is now eyeing Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 record, driven by consistent audience turnout, positive word of mouth, and strong performance across domestic and overseas markets.
