Recent data from research firm Canalys further underscores this milestone: in the April–June 2025 quarter, India seized the top spot from China as the leading exporter of smartphones to the U.S., capturing a 44% share of shipments compared to just 13% a year earlier. Meanwhile, China’s share dropped to 25%.
