Faridkot, 14 July 2025 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau) : – Under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has launched a total of 32 new services of the Transport and Revenue Departments through service centers and doorstep delivery to provide citizens with easy, fast, and transparent services.
Providing information on this, Deputy Commissioner Madam Poonamdeep Kaur stated that the public can now easily avail these services from the comfort of their homes by calling 1076.
She mentioned that 5 key services related to the Revenue Department—such as deed registration, preparation of deed drafts, submission of deeds for pre-verification, payment of stamp duty, and applications for mutation (based on inheritance or registered deeds)—along with requests for report entries (based on court orders, bank loan mortgages, or loan/mortgage waivers), corrections in records (fard badar), digitally signed records (fard), and more—are now available.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to district residents to take full advantage of these modern and innovative services introduced by the Punjab Government and save their valuable time. She further informed that about 27 services related to driving licenses will now also be available at the Suvidha (service) centers.
She again urged the people of the district to make maximum use of these progressive services provided by the government to ensure efficiency and time-saving.
