02 June 2025 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ferozepur is continuously carrying out activities under the developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan. In this round, today, on 1st June 2025, the team of KVK Ferozepur participated in villages Sulhani, Boyawala and Dhanna Shaheed. The teams formed under the guidance of Dr. Gurmail Singh, Deputy Director Training of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ferozepur, visited these villages and solved the problems faced by the farmers on the spot. He informed the farmers about the schemes being run by the Government of India under this campaign while educating them about the Kharif crops.
The subject experts present in the team discussed with the farmers on their respective subjects and also shed light on how value can be increased by reducing costs by adopting allied agricultural activities. Along with this, points were also shared on how farming can be further facilitated by taking advantage of the schemes being run by the government.
At the end of the camp, the entire team thanked the dignitaries and encouraged them to get maximum benefits from the agricultural facilities of Punjab Agriculture University and Ferozepur district by joining Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ferozepur. Literature about the schemes being run by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Punjab Agriculture University, Punjab Agricultural University and the Government of India was also distributed.
