Fazilka, March 27 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): Fazilka MLA Narinder Pal Singh Sawna today raised the issue of low-hanging power lines in various villages of his constituency during the Question Hour in the Vidhan Sabha. He stated that these loose wires are causing difficulties for the residents.
In response, Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO clarified that no fee is charged by the Electricity Corporation for repairing loose wires. This work is carried out either upon receiving an application from the public or based on a survey conducted by the department. The Power Minister assured that an investigation will be conducted, and appropriate action will be taken to ensure a stable electricity supply to the affected areas.
