Chandigarh 18 march 2025 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): The Punjab government has taken another important decision for the convenience of the general public by launching the helpline number 1100, through which any citizen can register their complaints related to government departments. This information was provided by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sona Thind.
She stated that the district administration is fully committed to providing timely, transparent, and excellent administrative services to the citizens of the district and that any inconvenience faced by people in government offices will not be tolerated.
She further mentioned that if any citizen has a complaint regarding a government department, they can contact the helpline number 1100. Additionally, complaints can also be registered on the Punjab Government’s Public Grievance Redressal Portal.
The government has also introduced a WhatsApp number 98555-01076, where citizens can file their complaints online. She stated that once registered, the complaint will be sent to the officer’s online account, and it will be mandatory to resolve the complaint within the specified time frame.
