Phagwara, February 06 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): A seven-year-old girl died after being injured by a kite string while riding a scooter at Kotli-Khakhian village on the Phagwara-Mukandpur road on Wednesday.
Harleen was standing in the area in front of the seat of the scooter which her grandfather Satnam Singh was riding.
As she suddenly started crying, her grandfather found her throat slashed.
She was taken to hospital where she died.
