Two individuals, a woman cyclist and a laborer, lost their lives in separate road accidents in Abohar.

Sonia, a 45-year-old resident of Subhash Nagar, Abohar, was killed after being struck by a speeding PRTC bus on Abha Square Road today. The bus staff transported her body to the Civil Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. The body was later moved to the mortuary for post-mortem. Sonia was a mother of five daughters. Sub-Inspector Amrik Singh of the City-1 police station confirmed that the state-owned bus has been impounded, and an investigation is underway.

In another incident, Satnam Singh, a 37-year-old laborer from Ghallu village, was killed when a car hit his bike last night. The accident occurred while Satnam was traveling from Ghallu village to Khippianwali. The driver of the car fled the scene after the collision. Satnam, who was a father of two children, was pronounced dead at the Abohar Civil Hospital. His father has demanded justice for the son
