Batala, January 8 – In line with the ongoing awareness campaign directed by the District Commander of Punjab Home Guards and Civil Defense, Gurdaspur, the Civil Defense Warden Service Post No. 09 has released the 2025 calendar. The calendar was launched in the presence of Ravel Singh, District Commander (Gurdaspur), and Manpreet Singh, District Commander (Amritsar), alongside Battalion Staff Officer (Punjab Home Guards), and Civil Defense Store Incharge, Davinder Singh Bhangu. The release was facilitated by Post Warden Dharminder Sharma.
Prominent attendees included Kanwaljit Singh Riar, Manjit Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Dr. Kulwinder Singh, Sector Wardens Daljinder Singh, Raghav Gupta, and Dr. Amanpreet Singh.
On this occasion, Manpreet Singh extended New Year greetings, encouraged Civil Defense volunteers to continue serving humanity, and appreciated the ongoing training camps organized by Civil Defense.
Post Warden Dharminder Sharma concluded the event with an appeal to city residents to join Civil Defense as members, learn critical safety skills, and contribute to managing emergencies and disasters as responsible citizens.
