He informed that Section 15 of the CISF Act-1968 mandates that every member of the force can be posted at any place within or outside India. Since the posting guidelines last issued in 2017, the Central Industrial Security has grown significantly and there have been changes in the force. Social changes such as greater inclusion of women in the force and transfer of working couples need to be considered in the posting guidelines.
He said that keeping in view this dynamic security environment and its impact on operational and administrative requirements, the posting and transfer guidelines for non-gazetted force members of 2017 have been reviewed and changed.
He said that human resource is the most important resource of any security force. This Human Resource (HR) policy will affect more than 98 percent of the force members out of the sanctioned strength of 1,94,053 throughout their entire service life of about 38 years. This policy will replace the 2017 policy and it will encourage the force members to bring new knowledge, technology and skills into the force to face the emerging security challenges .
