Gurdaspur, December 19 – Under the leadership of Director Kuldeep Singh Jassowal and Deputy Director Dairy Varyam Singh, the Punjab Dairy Department and Punjab Dairy Development Board organized a one-day milk producer awareness camp under the DD-6 scheme at village Sarchur, Block Fatehgarh Churian, District Gurdaspur.

During the camp, milk producers were provided detailed information by experts on animal diseases, treatments, and green fodder. Additionally, the Dairy Development Department shared details about government schemes, subsidies, and insurance plans for livestock owners initiated by the Punjab Government. Farmers and milk producers from the village and surrounding areas participated and benefited from the camp.

Prominent attendees included Sukhpreet Singh (Sarpanch), Dr. Ashok Singh Basra (Assistant Director), Dr. Harman Singh (Cattle Feed Ghaniye-Ke-Bangar), Kamal Kishore (Advanta Company), Punjab & Sind Bank Manager Barjinder Singh, Dairy Development Inspector Miss Annu, Anamika Sharma, and a large number of progressive farmers and milk producers.
