As the release date of the film approaches, the excitement among the audience has started increasing, and the film’s team is also busy in promotion. Be it the trailer launch or the pre-release event, the film’s team is creating a great atmosphere everywhere. But during this time one thing is worth noticing – a big name of the film, Fahadh Fazil, is missing from the promotional events. His absence is a bit shocking for the fans of the film, and now Allu Arjun himself has spoken about this.
Allu Arjun said remembering Fahadh Fazil
Recently, during a pre-release event of ‘Pushpa 2’ in Kochi, Allu Arjun praised his co-stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Fazil. However, he also noticed Fahadh Fazil’s absence from the promotional events.
Allu Arjun said, “For the first time in all my films, I have worked with Fahadh Fazil, who is one of the finest actors in the Malayalam film industry. I miss seeing him here today. I really wish we were here in Kerala together. It would have been a very iconic moment.”
He further added, “Fafa (Fahadh Fazil’s nickname) has rocked ‘Pushpa 2’ and he will make every Mallu (Malayali) across the world proud.”
Fahadh Fazil’s role and fans’ trust
These words of Allu Arjun were a relief for Fahadh’s fans. Recently, Fahadh’s absence from the promotional events of the film raised questions whether his role in the film has become smaller or less important. But Allu Arjun clarified that Fahadh Fazil has done a great job in the film and his role is very important.
Director Sukumar is also praised
Allu Arjun also praised the film’s director Sukumar at this event. He said, “Sukumar gave me the film ‘Arya’, and that film made me famous in the Malayalam industry. All the credit goes to ‘Arya’, and then till ‘Pushpa’ you have constantly showered love on me.”
Also, Allu Arjun told that he is one of those few Telugu actors whose films are very successful in Malayalam as well. Because of this, his fans have also fondly called him ‘Mallu Arjun’.
