Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024 Live Updates: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a swipe at the BJP saying, “Those who say I show ‘red book with blank pages in it’ have never read the Constitution.” Gandhi made the remark during his rally in Nandurbar, Maharashtra. Referring to the copy of the Constitution with a red and black hardcover Gandhi carries at his rallies, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis had alleged that Gandhi was trying to seek support from “urban Naxals and anarchists” with the “red book” in his hand.

Expecting a massive footfall during PM Modi’s rally at Shivaji Park in Dadar, Mumbai police have put in place a set of restrictions to ensure smooth flow of traffic in other parts of the city. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will attend the rally.
