Akhilesh Yadav on Demonetisation: Demonetisation has completed eight years today. On this day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the ban of 500 and 1000 rupee notes. Opposition parties have been constantly raising questions about this decision of PM Modi. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav also remembered this day today and called it a black history and said that due to this decision of BJP, India’s economy became a disaster.

SP President Akhilesh Yadav wrote a long post on his official social media handle on the anniversary of demonetisation and targeted the BJP fiercely. He wrote- ‘In the history of Indian economy, an entire chapter will be printed in black in the name of demonetisation.

Today, just a day before the 8th anniversary of demonetisation, yesterday the rupee reached its weakest position against the dollar. The public is asking whether this happened due to the failure of demonetisation or due to the negative policies of the BJP. Now will the BJP leaders again say that the rupee has not fallen to a ‘record-breaking’ low in the history of the country against the dollar, but the dollar has risen. The BJP has turned the economy into a disaster. The rupee should say today’s rupee, we don’t want BJP!

Akhilesh Yadav cornered BJP
Samajwadi Party has been constantly cornering BJP on demonetization. Whereas BJP claims that elections have been held several times after demonetization and the public has rejected this issue. Therefore, the allegations of the opposition have no substance.

Let us tell you that on 8 November 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced demonetization in the country. After which, 500 and 1000 rupee notes were taken out of circulation from 12.00 midnight on the same day. After this decision of the government, there was a lot of chaos in the country, people were seen sitting in front of banks day and night to exchange their notes. The government had called it a strong attack on terrorism and Naxalism.
