The last time the price of petrol and diesel was reduced by Rs 2 was in the month of March. By the way, at present the price of crude oil is seen at $ 71 per barrel. Dealers’ demand fulfilled

Hardeep Singh Puri said on his X handle that on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, a big gift given by the oil companies to the petrol pump dealers is heartily welcomed! The demand that was going on for 7 years has been fulfilled. He further said that now consumers will get better services but there will be no increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. A big decision has also been taken by the oil companies to rationalize inter-state freight to benefit the consumers located in remote places (far from the petrol and diesel depots of oil marketing companies).

Petrol may become cheaper by up to Rs 5

Giving information with examples on his X handle, Hardeep Singh Puri said that the price of petrol in Kunanpalli and Kalimela of Malkangiri in Odisha will be reduced by Rs 4.69 and Rs 4.55 and the price of diesel will be reduced by Rs 4.45 and Rs 4.32 respectively. Similarly, the price of petrol in Sukma, Chhattisgarh will be reduced by Rs 2.09 and the price of diesel by Rs 2.02. The increase in dealer commission will provide better services to about 7 crore citizens who visit our fuel retail shops across the country every day without increasing fuel prices. The fulfillment of this demand pending for the last 7 years will bring happiness and prosperity in the lives of petrol pump dealers and about 10 lakh employees working at more than 83,000 petrol pumps across the country.

Petrol may become cheaper in many cities of 6 states

Due to rationalization of freight transport, petrol will become cheaper by Rs. 2.09 to Rs. 2.70 in half a dozen cities from Bijapur to Sukma in Chhattisgarh and diesel price will see a decline of Rs. 2.02 to Rs. 2.60. Talking about Arunachal Pradesh, petrol prices in Lumla, Tuting, Tawang, Jang, Anini and Hawai will be reduced by Rs. 3.96, Rs. 3.47, Rs. 3.72, Rs. 3.47, Rs. 3.02 and Rs. 2.48 respectively. Diesel prices will see a decline of Rs. 3.12, Rs. 3.04, Rs. 2.89, Rs. 2.65, Rs. 2.63 and Rs. 2.15.
