Gold gains by Rs 300, silver shines by Rs 200
Gold prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 300 to Rs 81,400 per 10 grams in the national capital’s bullion market due to good demand from jewelers and retailers on the occasion of Dhanteras. This information was given by the All India Sarafa Association. Silver rose by Rs 200 to Rs 99,700 per kg due to increased demand from industrial units and coin manufacturers. Silver had closed at Rs 99,500 per kg on Monday. Traders said that they are preferring silver coins for symbolic purchases, ignoring the traditional purchase of gold at current levels. Apart from this, gold of 99.5 percent purity jumped by Rs 300 to an all-time high of Rs 81,000 per 10 grams.
