However, Diwali will be celebrated on Thursday, October 31. Due to Diwali, the stock market will be closed for normal trading but a special trading session of one hour will be held in the evening. The normal trading session will run from 6 pm to 7 pm and the time for trading modification will be till 7:10 pm. The pre-opening session of the market will be from 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm, after this time period it will continue as usual.

What is the reason?

Actually, this time there is a lot of confusion about Diwali, but this time the festival of Diwali is being celebrated on 31 October in the country. At the same time, Diwali holiday in the stock market is on 1 November this time and Muhurat trading is also on the same day in the evening. However, according to NSE, there may be a change in the holidays due to the festival and other reasons.

BSE has also informed on its website that special Muhurat trading will be held on November 1. However, no official information has been given about the timing yet.
