Interestingly, this film is coming back to theatres after 29 years. Yes, superstar Salman Khan has given this good news to the fans on Monday 28 October. He tweeted at 12 noon that ‘Karan Arjun’ will be re-released in theatres on 22 November 2024.

Not just in India, but fans of Hindi cinema across the world will be able to enjoy this classic film in their nearest theatre. Sharing the trailer of ‘Karan Arjun’, Salman wrote – ‘Rakhi ji was right in saying in the film that my Karan Arjun will come… in theatres across the world on 22 November!’

Story of the film

Based on reincarnation and revenge, the film is the story of two brothers, Karan and Arjun, who are separated due to a family feud. Fate reunites them in their next birth as they seek justice and redemption.

‘Karan Arjun’ was first released in theatres on 13 January 1995. Made on a budget of Rs 6 crore, the film had a net collection of Rs 43 crore at the box office.

Sachin Bhowmick’s excellent story, Rakesh Roshan’s direction and above all, two of the biggest superstars of Indian cinema, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan, coming together on screen for the first time. Apart from Salman and Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Rakhee, Mamta Kulkarni and Amrish Puri had given brilliant performances in the film. ‘Karan Arjun’ got 10 nominations in Filmfare Awards. While it got two awards for Best Editing and Best Action.
