ED has intensified its action regarding the scam of Rs 2000 crore in the Food Supply Department of Punjab and the scam in the auction of plots under the LDP scheme in Ludhiana Improvement Trust, due to which the troubles of many including former minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu and former chairman of Ludhiana Improvement Trust Raman Bala Subramaniam may increase in the coming days. It is being told that ED has filed a PMLA petition against 31 people including former minister Ashu in the Food Supply Department scam and has sought details of the plots allotted under the LDP scheme during the tenure of Raman Bala Subramaniam. This petition has been filed in the ED Special Court, Jalandhar.
Let us tell you that a big scam has happened in Ludhiana Improvement Trust during plot allotment under LDP scheme, which is being investigated by ED. Regarding this matter, ED has sent a letter to the trust and has asked for the details of all the plots which were allotted during the tenure of Raman Bala Subramaniam. ED has asked for information about the plots of Rishi Nagar and Sarabha Nagar. Let us tell you that Raman Bala Subramaniam has been the chairman of the trust during the tenure of Congress government and has been close to former minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu.
