7 october 2024 : Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is back with its third season, and ahead of the trailer release, Netflix has shared a fun teaser introducing Riddhima Kapoor Sahni as the new cast member.
The teaser, styled like a 90s commercial, opens with Maheep Kapoor feeling bored while cooking in the kitchen. It transitions to Bhavna Pandey, who is frustrated by her noisy children, and Seema Kiran Sajdeh, dressed as a housewife from a soap opera, washing clothes. Neelam Kothari is seen as a lonely housewife, neglected by her family. The scene shifts to the present, where Bhavna, Neelam, and Seema are on set, while Maheep argues with a crew member, exclaiming, “How old do you think we are? This is the Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. We need to do something a little more…” She is interrupted by Riddhima’s arrival.
As Riddhima enters, an announcement states, “Dear Bollywood wives, you have new friends from Delhi.” While Maheep, Bhavna, and others hesitate to interact with their new Delhi friends, Riddhima confidently declares, “We will steal all the TRP.” She is joined by Kalyani Saha Chawla and Delhi-based art and design collector Shalini Passi. The familiar tensions among the friends unfold as Maheep warns Seema, “Don’t get emotional with me; I don’t like it.” A dramatic voiceover, reminiscent of 90s Hindi film promos, declares, “Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives.”
Netflix India shared the teaser with the caption, “This season, it’s all about the fabulous rivalry between Delhi and Mumbai 🐝💅. Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives premieres on October 18 exclusively on Netflix!”
In response to the teaser, Bhumi Pednekar expressed her excitement, saying, “Can’t wait.” One user commented, “Indian version of Dubai Bling 😂,” while another said, “This is what I pay my internet bills for 🔥.” Another remarked, “Their lives in an alternate universe 😂.”
