26 september 2024 : Donald Trump recently took to social media to mock “Kamala’s Project 2025,” referring to it as a 900-page policy “wish list” intended for the next Republican president. In his post, he highlighted points such as “Citizenship for 20 million illegals” and “Ban gas-powered cars,” which he attributed to Kamala Harris’ Project 2025. Other contentious points included “Ban fracking,” “Transgender surgeries for minors,” “Taxpayer-funded reparations,” “Packing the U.S. Supreme Court,” and “Government and big tech censorship.”
Trump further suggested that Harris would support “Cashless bail for violent criminals” and “Use tax dollars to fund abortions.” He concluded his list with “Enforce racist affirmative action,” “Mandate vaccinations,” and “Require government approval to buy a gun.”
Despite Harris’ claims during an ABC News presidential debate that Trump intended to implement the proposals in Project 2025 if re-elected, Trump asserted, “I have nothing to do with Project 2025.” He has consistently distanced himself from the document, which is a political initiative published by the conservative Heritage Foundation in 2022.
Earlier in the debate, Harris described Project 2025 as a “detailed and dangerous plan,” to which Trump responded that he knows nothing about it. He previously stated, “I have no idea who is behind it,” and criticized some of its proposals as “absolutely ridiculous and abysmal.” During the debate, Trump acknowledged that while some ideas in the document might be “good,” he still maintained, “I have nothing to do with it.”
