25 september 2024: Jr NTR made a surprise appearance at the Beyond Fest in Los Angeles during a free screening of RRR. The screening was organized as a lead-up to the film festival, which runs from September 25 to October 9. The actor received an enthusiastic welcome, and his upcoming film Devara: Part 1 will be showcased at the event soon.
At Beyond Fest, the official X (formerly Twitter) account shared a photo of Jr NTR speaking, captioning it, “Unreal. The icon NTR made a surprise appearance tonight to tell us about his new film DEVARA. The world is not ready.”
Jr NTR’s team also posted a video on X featuring the host introducing him as he arrived on stage, saying, “I want to welcome to the stage…he has traveled from Hyderabad, India,” which was met with loud cheers. He emphasized the significance of the moment, stating, “It is unbelievable that we’re in this position, even in the same building as this man,” before introducing Jr NTR as the star of RRR and Devara.
The audience erupted in cheers, even standing to applaud as the host declared, “So, Los Angeles, please give it up for the Man of the Masses. He’s a wonderful international superstar. There’s no one like him. He’s the star of RRR. He’s the star of Devara. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for NTR.”
Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva and featuring Jr NTR alongside Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, will hit theaters on September 27 and will be screened at the festival on September 26 at 6:30 PM. Recently, a pre-release event for the film in Hyderabad was canceled due to overcrowding, and Jr NTR and his wife, Lakshmi Pranathi, flew out of Hyderabad that evening.
