Following suit, P!nk and Megan Fox also wiped their digital presence, prompting speculation about their actions coinciding with the arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
As rumors swirled that Usher was distancing himself from the controversy, he clarified that his account had been hacked. However, not everyone is convinced by this explanation.
Amid the ongoing scrutiny of high-profile celebrities connected to Diddy, who has faced pressure to address his alleged wrongdoings, Usher’s sudden social media purge raised eyebrows. Despite his close ties to Diddy during his early career, Usher has not been implicated in any of the allegations against him. Addressing the situation, Usher tweeted, “Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it!” He added, “See you tonight at Intuit Dome.”
