23 september 2024 : A snake was recently spotted inside a train coach heading to Mumbai, with a video showing the reptile hanging from an iron grip in the Jabalpur-Mumbai Garibrath Express going viral on social media.
The incident reportedly took place near Kasara station in Maharashtra on Sunday morning.
Harshit Shrivastava, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of West Central Railway, informed PTI that authorities are working with Central Railways to verify the details of the sighting.
The video captures the snake dangling from the iron grip of a side berth, and further information is being gathered from officials responsible for the Kasara route, according to the CPRO.
