23 september 2024 : The much-anticipated 18th season of Bigg Boss is set to premiere on October 6, with Salman Khan returning as host. According to a report from The Indian Express, actress Shilpa Shirodkar has been confirmed as a contestant for this season.
Shilpa is the younger sister of former actress Namrata Shirodkar, who is married to Telugu star Mahesh Babu. She made her Bollywood debut in Ramesh Sippy’s Bhrashtachar (1989), sharing the screen with Mithun Chakraborty and Rekha.
Shilpa also starred alongside Anil Kapoor in the 1990 film Kishen Kanhaiya and appeared in several other films, including Trinetra (1991), Hum (1991), Khuda Gawah (1992), Aankhen (1993), Pehchaan (1993), Gopi Kishan (1994), Bewafa Sanam (1995), and Mrityudand (1997). After a 13-year break from acting, she returned to the screen in 2013 with the Zee TV series Ek Mutthi Aasmaan.
