On September 23, 2024, Umesh Vikram won a gold medal in the SL3 category at the Indonesia Para Badminton International Tournament. Meanwhile, Sukant Kadam, Sivarajan Solaimani, and Mandeep Kaur earned silver medals in their respective events. Sukant claimed silver in the men’s singles SL4 category, Sivarajan in the men’s singles SH6 category, and Mandeep in the women’s singles SL3 category. Overall, India secured a total of 34 medals at the internationally recognized Level 2 tournament held in Surakarta, Indonesia.
