20 september 2024 : The Supreme Court’s YouTube channel appears to have been hacked, currently displaying videos promoting cryptocurrency from a U.S.-based company called Ripple Labs.
In addition to various cryptocurrency-related videos, there is also a live stream titled “Brad Garlinghouse: Ripple Responds To The SEC’s $2 Billion Fine! XRP PRICE PREDICTION,” which is just a blank screen.
The Supreme Court primarily uses this channel to live stream public interest case hearings, a practice that began following a landmark ruling in 2018.
Official sources informed Bar & Bench that the Supreme Court is actively working to resolve the issue.
