September 20, 2024: Singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal recently appeared on the quiz-based reality show “Kaun Banega Crorepati.” During the episode, they sang the song “Tere Mere Milan Ki Yeh Raina” for host Amitabh Bachchan. In a promo video shared by the show’s producers, Sonu and Shreya are seen on the hot seat. On this occasion, Sonu tells Big B that they wanted to do something special for him. He adds, “This is our love for you, and it’s the first time we are doing something like this.” In the clip, Sonu sings in Hindi while Shreya sings in Bengali. Sonu is seen in a cream-colored suit, while Shreya is wearing a black saree. Notably, “Tere Mere Milan Ki Yeh Raina” is a song from the film “Abhimaan,” which features Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan. The film was based on the 1970 Bengali movie “Bilambita Loe,” starring Uttam Kumar and Supriya Devi.
