On September 20, 2024, Vipin Reshammiya, father of singer Himesh Reshammiya and a notable music director and producer, passed away at the age of 88. He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to respiratory and age-related issues. Family member Anoop Singh confirmed the news of his passing, stating that Vipin Reshammiya leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of music. His last rites were conducted today at Oshiwara crematorium. Vipin Reshammiya composed music for the 1988 film “Insaaf Ki Jung” and was involved in the production of films like “The Exposé” and “Tera Surroor.”
