Rajiv mentioned that Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, and Krushna Abhishek all praised his performance, while Sunil Grover had yet to respond.
Rajiv noted that except for Sunil Grover, who might have been busy, everyone else reached out with congratulations. Kapil Sharma, who watched and enjoyed the series, personally called Rajiv to commend him. Archana Puran Singh, moved by the series, shared an Instagram story about Rajiv’s transformation and later sent him a message praising his work. Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek also congratulated him.
IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, directed by Anubhav Sinha, is a six-episode series based on the 1999 hijacking of IC 814. The show stars Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, and others, with Rajiv playing Ibrahim Akhtar, also known as Chief.
The Great Indian Kapil Show, hosted by Kapil Sharma, features Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur, and will return with its second season on September 21.
